LBB is right whats wrong with dropping to 1st on a 30 Roll ??? if he drops gears he will be revved 4k at 30 and the other truck in drive has to floor it then drop gears by that time the truck ALREADY in 1st gear gets the jump and is gone

Man I love it when you post up a vid, because everyone bashes you. I can see why sometimes, but never the less good runs. I used to manual shift my A4 SS camaro and I did in my truck. And yes it WILL tare up your tranny. But if your truck is tuned properly, when you mash it, it should not hesitate and go done through the gears. It should jump down to the furthest gear according to the speed. Example @ 30mph it should go 3-1 instead of 3-2-1 on a stock tune.

dude there is no time in racing for it to down shift from 3 to 1 i understand if i wasnt racing but on a race you cant let time go by
