Just wanted to post up my 2000 GMC Sierra reg cab step side with the 5.3l.
Thought I'd make a thread about the truck and everything I've done to it...
2000 GMC Sierra "sportside" with 5.3l and 4L60e
- PERFORMANCE -
Intake - K&N Cold Air Intake
Exhaust - Custom 3" exhaust, no cats, w/ Magnaflow muffler and 3" manual cutout
Tune - ME - via HP Tuners
Camshaft - Comp Cams 224/230, .591/.595, 112LSA
Valve Train - Lunati double valve springs with titanium retainers and locks
Ignition - MSD 8.5mm wires w/ NGK TR6 plugs
Transmission - Fully built "level 7" racing 4L60E, built by 1320 Transmissions, of McAlester, OK.
Stall Converter - Circle D Specialties 3600
Differential - ValueTrac locker with 4.11 gears and all fresh bearings and seals
Nitrous - NOS brand 10lb bottle, Nitrous Outlet 78mm plate, Nitrous Express solenoids and lines.
Cooling - Dual 10" electric fans
Thermostat - 160º
EGR delete

2002 Silverado HD Hood, custom cut and fitted for my GMC front end
Paint matched mirrors, door handles, lower bumper valance, and grille
Crystal clear headlighs and corner lights
DDM Tuning 10,000K HID kit for highs AND lows
17" 2011 GMC Sierra wheels
- SUSPENSION -
2" McGaughy's lowering spindles
2" Belltech lowering shackles
2" Belltech lowering hangers
Belltech leaf spring clamps (totally eliminated wheel hop)
- INTERIOR -
FULL led swap on EVERY bulb
Head unit - Sony single din head unit
Amplifier - Kicker ZX300.1
Subwoofer - Kicker 10" CVT
Door Speakers - Kicker KS650 Coaxial speakers
- FUTURE PLANS -
2" more of drop, via 2" lowering control arms and 4-link rear suspension with coil overs
Narrowed rear end to fit some 22x8 front and 22x12 rear wheels
Built 408ci motor with large single turbo
