Bonedaddy... is your truck a long bed? How much did you give for the fender flares and where did you give for them?

1FUNZ71 - I appreciate the words... I think I might get the leveling kit, a set of pocket style fender flares, and MT Classic II's with the Dick Cepek 285's.

Yeah its a longbed. I got the flares a couple years ago off ebay new for $275. I think they go for about 350-375 from retailers.

T-bars cranked a little bit, and an added leaf in the back. I'm running 285/75-16's and have been for 4 years, never once rubbed.

Go with 285's. They're bigger and won't rub with stock wheels, just crank a little to level out the ride. I'm going with 295's which is a little taller/wider then a 285 with no lift. I bought my truck with the 265's that are on there now and I tower above them and they look dumb. I'd definately get at least 285's.

what the other guys said. 265's on 16's are stock and look prety weak.

i got a set of wheels and tires off of an 03 avalanch to put on my hoe. they are 265's but on 17's. they are a full 1" taller than the 16's and the stock goodyear ats tires are a little agresive looking too. just swaping out those rims and tires was a prety dramatic difference in how tuff the hoe looked.

Parish... you got lucky, I looked for a set of take offs in the local area for a few months before I started down this path. I thought with all the trucks running around on 20's some take-offs would be easy to find. I am in Bellevue NE just down the road from you and no joy.

04blackGMC - good lookin truck... I feeling the long bed.
