Nice kill dude, the 454SS trucks weren't fast even in 1991, the peanut heads are terrible, small junk stock cam and then the terrible TBI setup its the perfect recipe for making no power. They have a good drivetrain when it comes to the tranny (TH400) and rear axle (GM14 bolt) but thats about it! The TBI engines were dependable IMO they just werent performance engines at all! But I know it had to feel good destroying a 454 cubic inch engine with ya 4.8

i remeber my numbers to when i took it to the track...
first time at irwindale 1/8 mile
intake superchiped flowmasters 3:73 ....11.1
second time
intake flowmasters jba headers 3:73 tuned ..10.3-5
third time
intake jba headers flowmasters 3:73 stall... 9.9 (untune for the stall)
so hopefully i can lower the numbers better with the new set up i got now and hopefully i can get it retune this month...

Good kill bro, . I ran the same thing in irwindale that day you ran your truck. i need to take my monster rims off

Of what upgrades to get and what will and won't work....
Travieso i member ur truck moves with rims...
And yeah I know the 454 are slow
