Thanks guys for all the compliments. I'll try to get some better ones later.

Guilty!!
That was my fault, I really hate touching that limiter which is why I rarely even go WOT. I "accidentally" hit 140 doing a short acceleration run 10 minutes later with a buddy in the truck and the whole time I was probably at 80% throttle.

Thanks for letting me drive it!
Just needs some tire under it and a bigger turbo lol!
My pleasure Joey, glad you AZ guys had fun driving it. That's what it's for anyways. So speaking of tires...
What do you think about Michellin Pilot sport?

Tire Products By Vehicle - Discount Tire

1Fastbrick is gonna build me a rear end and getting new axle's which means I can possibly dip into the 5 lug world and get some wider wheels for cheaper than we can find them in the 6 lug world.

GT-42 which I believe is a 72mm compresser wheel. Spools really fast if I let it but I'm ALWAYS rolling into the throttle so not to abuse my transmission unecesarily. When it down shifts and slams into gear under hard boost I cringe.

It might be for sale here shortly (your turbo is too big...give it to me! ) everybody tells me I need a bigger one but at this point...Why? Can't get traction at 9 psi till about 50 mph. And at 14psi Jake was having traction issues in 3rd gear so...

the Michelin pilot sport is an awesome tire! its alot of coin for a tire. but it would be a good option. if you get 15's then you canhave more options on tires, or slicks. i would look at nittos
nitto has the 555R 315-35ZR20 NT555R
and the NT-05R 315-35ZR20 NT05R
both those tires would be good choices, they are drag radials so the rubber compound is super soft.

I can't go 15's in the back because of those Wilwood brakes. I think the smallest I could go would be 18's and that's even a stretch.

Those NT05R's, aren't they what I currently have? I wasn't too impressed with those tires, they are super hard now as I'm sure you'll recall. Lol I'd like to get away from the rubberband tires too, hopefully those 35's will add some more sidewall to these guys, it should since as you were saying it's a percentage of the tire width.
At the very least 315 is alot wider than the ones I have now. Just felt as if your tires were much much softer compound than what mine were and they sure hooked alot better too!

I forgot about your big brakes! But yeah the NT-05R is the drag radial of your tire! Tread pattern is the same, rubber compound is different! Either Nitto drag radial will hook better then what you have! I really like my 555R

So there's a big enough difference between the NT-05 and the NT05R? I'm not gonna use the truck as a grocery getter anymore so ride comfort, wet Performance and tread wear aren't a big deal anymore.

I have the Nitto NT05 275/35R20. They were ok, not gonna say there were terrible but they really weren't what I had hoped.
I also didn't think the 35 sidewall on a 275 tire would look so thin, wasn't a fan of it really and it lowered by truck as well since they are about 26.5-27" tall. I'd like to get a tire that's 29-30" tall for the Mojave mile. I topped out at 150mph earlier this spring because of gearing, tires size, and rev limiter among other things.
