Most of the fastest e.t's out there in 4th gen cam only f bodies were with a t-rex. That is with less cubes, and lesser flowing top end all together. It would be a max effort cam in a lighter vehicle, but i'd be nasty with supporting mods....lol T-ReX v.2 - 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa.

Lol! Those cans are great for cars, way overkill for a 5.3 in a 5000 lb truck. Hell my buddies rcsb 408 only has a 233/239. However pat g speced him a 242/242 on a 110 that hasn't gone in yet.
There used to be a popular lingenfelter boost cam that was good na....

Thats impressive. It looks like it pulls nice! You can tell up around 100 that it gave up a little though.

I think you made the right call here... I would have done the same thing. I'm just surprised that the Z06 cam pulls so hard!

Does it really have more top end than the 212/218 cam did? Sounds hard to believe with the lower intake duration. I can't wait to see the track results.

i believe u didnt like that 220 because u were missing the 4.10s.. it would of gave u much more low end and still pull good up top.. also the 114 lsa was too much mayb on a 112 that cam would of proven better results then ur 212/218... ur setup just wasnt rt thats y that z06 cam feels so much better.. now take it to the track.. but i dont c it doing better then the 212/218....imo

i guess i was wrong 212 does look slower but u cant go off videos becuase if u compare the 220 vs the 212 that 220 seems like it picks up much better.. and ur track times just didnt prove it..

Yank tt3000 and 220, no low end, good from about 5000 and up. Just not a good combo for a big truck. The z06 cam, with that tt3000, much better tq, wide lsa lets it have such a wide powerband and rev high. This setup is better suited for your current driveline imo and I think you'll see some mid 13's now.
