To be 100% honest i'm not sure what the full story on this trans is. I bought it from a friend of a friend because i was in need of a trans real bad. The guy i bought it from said he had bought though his local Gm Dealership and intended on putting it in his 2001 TransAm but decided to go with a 6 speed instead. I would say that it is just a regular Gm 4l60e but it did have a Gm Performance Parts aluminium badge on the case and it shifts better that any other trans I have felt. Feels like its got a shift kit in it but it has never been opened up. Thats the story on that.

Hows your truck doing these days?
Good. Sitting in the garage. I am trying to figure out what I am going to do about the fuel system and some other odds and ends this winter.
