I wonder how the converter is going to affect your street racing traction?

You have to wonder if there's any value in adding TM back into the motor, obviously it's a departure from the norm of taking out any and all electronic handicapping, but as almost any launch with a stall is going to want to break the tires loose, and the suspension itself is geared more towards stability while carrying payload, rather than traction and perfect weight distribution, I'm just curious if something like 1st gear TM of like 50 % would accomplish anything, sort of like a poor man's 2-step limiter.

pull timing 1000-3000 rpm then add all the timing back only on WOT 1st gear launches. broke man 2 step but itd hurt you at the track. you ever watch those funny cars that barely launch out the hole then at the 60' they zoom
away like a bat outta hell and run in the high 9s, low 10s??? pulling timing then theyre wide open

nope just telling you what will happen lol
man i BURN all of 1st gear with the 6.2 and when i had the stock 5.3 in it i could roast the tires about 5-6 foot just from a flat foot no brake stall or anything.
the converter will help you on the power band, plus help get the truck moving with the 3:42s. i love my converter and i wont ever go back to a stock one.
