true but if you hold the gear when and if you spin you can feather the throttle without it up shifting and then downshifting again.

 

Lmfao, I know this is old guys but that night I wasn't worry about nick I was just leaving it on straight D (which I thought it ran better) but it didn't, I ain't making excuses it is what it is, that truck hauls, but if I would have shifted it would have been a different story lol, that night that TBSS got me atleast 4 trucks, when I had raced him weeks before I was heads up with him and I was creepin but that tranny sucked, but its old news already hopefully the new tranny don't give me headaches like the pass two have ........ different builder

I didn't mean in that way nick, we cool my ***** lol, my point was that I wasn't gonna go thru shifting if I knew I was gonna get u, no offense wei, and I didn't call u out what happen was that remember that day that I said you floored it at the same time as me and I got you like 5-6 trucks.? And you said that you didn't floored it that you were in second gear, remember.??? Well that was the reason we ran because you said I wouldn't pull on you like and sure didn't when you did the intake manifold and shifted and I didn't after the first time, but anyways you know how much shifting helps man so you know what would have happened me shifting lol

 

your computer can shift better than you. you grabbing that column is guna do nothing but slow you down. and before you say it, your truck will run no different between d and 3.

Hahahahahaha stew nobody is perfect in this life, I wasn't born speaking english, neither were you born knowing what are best at now, and I don't shift it to 3 I go all the way down to first, that's why it helps so much because it gives you a bad *** jump, because the rpms are already above 4k, is like taking off at idle and stalling it, which works better.? I know some trucks do work better at idle, but most of the time what is it stalling or off the idle..???

 

why not stay in it a little longer, looks like the 5.3 was going to come around you. Just wondering because it looks like as soon as the 5.3 starts pulling, you get out of it.
