it all sounds the same, and it looks slow

maybe I shouldnt have thrown out a number, but for all the bragging he's done its not impressive IMO... its a Supratruck

 

I do agree it should be faster but everybody hates on him I've read his old posts when he got banned he broke the rules I understand that but I prolly would have too

 

He has it setup for a stroker motor he just doesnt have the funds to rebuild his old motor right now, so until then he is running the 4.8 so he can atleast drive it. I thought everyone knew Quiks story.

 

all he ever shows are dyno numbers.... why wont he show timeslips??

 

its a nice truck, but i think if i built the setup for a 408 i would be doing everything to get that 408 rebuilt or whatever has to get done to it done ASAP!! quit teasing us with this 700hp 4.8 already!!! GET IT DONE!

here we go again!! he's makes more power out of a 4.8 than 90% of the trucks on this site do. great truck. if you've ever tried driving a 4500lb truck w/ a stick down the track you would understand why it doesn't run what it should. i can run 14.0 all day long w/ 315hp and 5-speed. i'm sure he is running a lot faster than that.

If he had the funds he would have the 408 in there now but he doesnt. His truck is a truck that needs alot of seat time. He has some clutch problems, and now with the 4.10s he has to leave it in 3rd now, not even makin it to his 1:1 gear

He's banned from this site because he was perma-banned from Tech and here as a result of physical threat to another member after repeated warning. He is a smart guy, knows quite a bit but his demeanor can be a bit abrasive.

 

Well...apart from all the drama that's always involved when his name is mentioned, I'm happy to see that he's got some good numbers to show for his work. He knows what he's doing, right now the 4.8 is a stop-gap until he get's his 408 fixed. Most of us wouldn't of even bothered but let's give him credit for building a stout little 4.8.
