Okay, now that I have your attention, lol, check out this vid. It's from a Lightning owner in Germany, very good vid, and take a quick look at the GPS verified top speed. Amazing. He's just a basic bolt on truck. In fact, I think he and I have most of the same mods, save for his brakes and the shift kit.

Feedback welcome.

Nice, Lightnings are fast. No if ands or butts about it. I probably have the power to pull that MPH. Aerodynamics, weight, suspension and ***** prevent me from doing it.

Everyone keeps saying we're areo limited to 142. Guess some mods throw that one right out the window, eh?

As for the ***** part, I wouldn't do it either, but that was on the Autobahn, and he's apparently used to it, so more power to him.

cool video.... 157mph is really haulin' ***... fastest I was able to get my silverado ss was 138mph (gps) and that was about it b/c its limited by the gearing and aero-dynamics. That was about as fast I think I'm comfortable going (I was on the 15 heading back from vegas)

Next time I make a vegas run (probably this summer) we'll see how far I can push the T'blazer

Had mine to 152 a few months ago showing a SS Camaro what the back of a truck looks like. It was still pulling but I ran out of road.

Ford has to put superchargers on their cars and trucks to make them compete against a naturally aspirated GM engine. Haha...just kidding. Seriously though...Lightnings are bad *** trucks. In my opinion, they are better than the Silverado SS and Ram SRT-10. I always take a second look to admire a Lightning every time I see one on the road.
