Back in the day, when I was in law enforcement...I was working for a small town in S. GA...part-time...the Chief was the only full-time officer...
anyway...I arrested a guy for DUI on a John Deere tractor...
he worked for a local farmer and had got drunk one afternoon after work and walked down to where the tractor was stored and decided to take it for a spin...
I probably would have never been aware to his drunken condition if he had just simply remembered to lift the harrower blades when he decided to drive it down the street...
I came around the corner from the station, making my rounds and thought..."WTF happened to the pavement?" I just followed the plowed asphalt til I found him a block or two away...drunk as a skunk...
