we did this setup, but didn't think it was going to pull that strong. payed $900 for heads and got the cam out from a 5.3 project.
La Grasshopper should be out in a few weeks. we went crazy with this coming setup, did a huge fly cut hoping it will work.

my bad chris, i thought the pistons were fly cut from this statement made above

either way, ive heard alot about edge lately, wish i would have known before hand but oh well, ill give them a try soon enough but now lol just bought another converter.


as far as the record it can be broke, i been debating about taking a step backwords and reworking a less than 7k mile lq4 but i rather not since the motor has such low miles, i do have a 6.2 also but ill leave her alone also! to far into the 408 to step back

my thoughts have been trying the vic intake and see what happens! im trying to talk a friend into letting me put my thoughts into his truck, but money is holding him back, his truck is identical to mine but id want everything my truck has for a positive comparison in hopes it would run the same.

how long you gonna be down for?

through the weekend? RPR friday night? its hectic there but hell ill only make a couple passes before probably getting kicked out lol

I was talking about la grasshopper on that statement. The one that should be out in a week or so.
For this truck we did a simple setup and it came out strong.

I'm very confident that i can make a 5.3 NA setup to get in to the mid 11's no doubt and still be able to drive it on a long trip and get good fuel economy
