Ford's response to the Superbowl add.... perfect timing!!!

All 3 "American" truck makers have stepped it up, I had a hard time picking my new truck and only settled on GM because of the employee pricing. Dodge almost had me...

My response

How a truck became a 9/11 symbol of pride

say what you want, this thing went through some extreme heat and still drove away.

This is an older video, but this yellow truck at about the 40 second mark has over 2 million miles. That impresses me. I bet a lot of people has already seen the truck, I know..

2,048,402 miles

Work in a salvage yard for awhile, and you won't be surprised by stuff like that. I have seen some absolutely destroyed vehicles run and drive.

Looks like the Spanish dude at the end snuck in the famous 8-second street beast, with the LSX and twin 76's.

Just kidding, but it looks almost identical. I remember that commercial from a while back. Over 2 million miles is definitely impressive. I'd like to get a list of what all has/hasn't been replaced on the truck, just out of curiosity.

I call BS, all fords have an inertia switch to kill the fuel pump in case of an accident. What caused this damage would have triggered that switch... SO, its obvious that "something" was done for it to power up, and drive off.... Just saying

That 2,048,402 mile truck is impressive. At 18 miles/gallon, and the today (where I am at) price at the pump($3.919), that would be $445,982.63 worth of gasoline alone just to achieve those miles.

Chevy can suck my left nut, while Ford sucks my right nut. Meanwhile Dodge is eating **** out my *** with a spoon!

Ain't non of them getting anymore of my money. The GM flagship I bought burnt to the ground last Thanksgiving.

Next truck I buy will have been built before 1969!!
