Hope to be at the shootout myself. Would love to line up against Red Truck.
I am sure you will call my truck a race truck due to the suspension and cage. But its street legal, has AC, stereo, and power steering. Plus its N/A...
I did notice the headlight being out and the tailgate off, is this how its driven on the street?
Street truck run em like they are driven on the street! lol

Have you done any back to back testing gate on vs. gate off? Everything I have done and seen points that gate on and up is as good or better then it off. On my slow truck I gained nothing by taking it off(low 14s nearly stock) so the advantage of the areo and weight for the rear tires could only help in my truck. I must assume you guys have tried both since you race a good deal but curious.
After typing this I think I remember you, phantom, posting you had better results from a faster truck with the gate off? At best we are talking hundredths or maybe a tenth one way or the other but I am always curious about the tailgate.

That makes no sense.... By those rules, I have to run 30psi in my tires, keep my cooler and lawn chairs in the bed, and the nitrous guys out there would have to drive to work with a hot bottle in the truck?....what about the guys who turn the boost up at the track, is that allowed? I didn't use my transbrake on the way to lowes today, does that mean I can't use it at the track???? Not my fault you have a caged up 4 linked truck....go pick on someone else.

Lol.... Street legal is street legal. Registered, insured, DOT tires, etc... Street comfortable is something else entirely. AC, heat, power steering, power brakes, etc. Doesn't need to have those things to be a street vehicle. But **** driving a street vehicle around regularly without them.

you know it! hahaha
