dont waist time with a TB converter, save your pennies til you got enough for a real one imo. then you would be close to breakin into 12s i bet..

can you elaborate on this? reason i ask is cause i went to HRP also friday and made 2 passes, after sitting in long *** lines, it really sucked, even though i had a heat issue IAT's were up to almost 200 degrees at launch, but managed to pull off a 11.95 pass, the truck felt like it hooked strong with a slight touch of spin, which was on the bead of the tire, BUT the run felt really slow

by the way great times, and waite until you can get a good converter

Good mph Nick! I know you don't want a big stall but i would AT LEAST go with a 3200 stall. I think the stall alone should work very well even if you keep the 3.42 rear.

Nice runs. The TB verter is awesome for DD. Itd be great for like a 212/218 cam. I like mine with my TR220 But I wish I had a 3200, But I dont want a good stall until a good trans is put in.

I would look into gettin the Circle-D 3000-3200 stall. $375 shipped to your door.
