our best 60' was a 1.40 wich we are prety happy with. we have room for tires that are about 1.5" bigger than what we have now.

we are running hp motorsports lower and upper control arms in the rear and a air bag on the pasenger side and that is it so far.

 

damn that is awsome, you guys ever think about putting a airbag on the right side to preload the car so it doesn't lean that hard on the launch

 

So what's the plan now? This sure has been an exciting build, and thanks for all the pictures and updates and stuff. Makes me sad to think in the time it took you to build if from scratch I can't even build and swap an engine!
What's next for project pink? I remember you saying something about just cruising with it for a while and might put it on pinks later, that still the plan?

 

we are planing on hiting up drag week with it. probably hit up the local 1/8th for some bracket racing and work on our consistancy. after drag week we will probably still try and hit up pinks if they will have us.

 

are you guys ever going to paint that ugly thing??? LOL

You've had me looking at Fairmonts ever since y'all started this project. I can't imagine what a built motor and more boost would be like.

I had one back in high school that I planned on putting a FI 5.0 into, with all the Mustang suspension/brakes/etc that I could get my hands on. HS for me was late 80's/early 90's, back when the "Dare To Be Different" craze got started.

If I could only bring myself to get rid of the truck...

 

That is impressive! What trans are you guys running? Trans break? You should try out your truck engine in that thing, and go mustang hunting!
