Default Exhaust clips of dual cut-outs

Finally finished wiring up the cut-outs on the truck, audio leaves a bit to be desired but it's not too bad. Exhaust is x-pipe to two cut-outs then out the sides. With them closed it goes into a 32" magnaflow and dumped over the rear axle.

Is it noticeably louder than a single cutout?

Haven't watched the video yet, but is the dual setup 2.5" or 3"?

They are 3" cut-outs, I would say the exhaust note is more balanced, deep toned and actually quieter than when I was running a single. The single dumped right after my turbo and it concentrated all 8 firing pulses under the truck so there was no mistaking it when I rolled up somewhere. Now with the pulses split and pointed out in different directions there's not as much reverberation and echoing. And I think the X-pipe is responsible for the exhaust not being as raspy and metallic sounding as it was previously, I really like it! For the amount of power I'm making N/A the exhaust size (dual 3") is a little overkill to be honest, but eventually I plan on maximizing the size of the exhaust.

I'm actually of a different opinion! I'm driving up to wilwood tomorrow and it will be the first true test of the truck on a long drive and I'll take some video of it while cruising and accelerating with them both open and closed and post them up. I plan on getting a resonator behind the muffler to make it even more muted. I want to get it as close to stock sounding as possible with the cut-outs closed.

I plan on it, only thing holding me up is the brakes and the EVAP line but the latter should be a easy fix once I get off my lazy ***!

My truck sounds like a DIESEL!!

Here's a short WOT run with them open, I've come to terms with the fact that there's no way any camera mic will really record what this truck sounds like...might try it from a distance so the mic doesn't get so distorted!
