Default cold air intake installed ;)

well i finally got around to installing my cold air intake, though i still need to make the funnels everything else is done besides powdercoating !!

wheres my buddy ray at lol

a single 4" tube would not cut it, we lost power or better yet we knew we werent getting all the power we needed, quik figured we needed more air as the motor was starving for it !!

horsepower gains are unknown but HPtuners says quite a bit

thanks Alex, that makes 2 of us basically it was either a single 5" or 2x4"s never thought a 4" single would be such a restriction.

as for hp gains, when we were tuning we noticed a 18+ Kpa difference, i was like damn!!

Are you going to take it to the shootout Apr 7th?! I may be down there for that this year.

18+ Kpa just from dual 4in intakes?! Man, i always though a 4in intake was overkill for most N/A stuff. Looks like you may be on to something here.

yes ill be at the april 7th shootout at RPR ( HPT event ) actually the 18 Kpa came in when i took the 4" single off, hadnt gotten any tune or log times on this setup as of yet, but im sure itll supply the ample air thats needed to feed the 408, i done been asked about a half a dozen times if im running a procharger since i wasnt running a CAI at all lmao!! it does draw lots of air
