A buddy wanted to race his 05 Expedition against my 03 Yukon XL. He has a 5.4 with exhaust and only 15K miles, and mine was bone stock at the time 115K miles. It wasn't even remotely competitive. Even with him tearing off first, and me not accelerating until his back bumper was even with my front, from a 35-40 MPH bunch it was over almost instantly.

He was completely baffled!

Whats the trans gear ratios and rear gear in those? 1st looks like it shifts at 30mph.
My turd of a truck shifts out at 61 into second haha

Nice runs. I probably get 3-4 street races a day from random people, and I can't remember the last time a ford revved at me. It's all "Hemi's" and diesels, and other Chevys.

Fords are slow-either way you look at it. Just plain slow.
