no way you're losing 20% with the 5 speed.

I'd say your around 250-255rwhp

I just used 20% for the rule of them kinda numbers...but you are right...but we'll see. It would be nice to be putting down 270ish with just a cam and exhaust haha...only time will tell.

well IIRC blackgmc got 303/300 which is really stout out of the 4.8 with a 220/220 XE cam I think. But the think is the torque curve. People look too much at peak hp numbers. First thing I look at on a dynograph is the torque @ 3000

prolly you feel that cuz of your gears...i mean i not saying that the 4.8 is a torque monster anyways but i have no idea how the heck u drive ur truck man...lol i got 3.73s and its OK, anything other than that i would die...i understand that ur truck is quiet a bit lighter than might but still...Ive been thinking long and hard on what gears to run with the t56 and cant wait to feel the difference...

BTW def sounds a lot meaner...

I can't wait to get the 4.10s in. These 3.42s blow donkey nuts. I never noticed much difference between the 4.8 and 6.0 below 2000 rpm. Right around 2000-2200 rpm though just half throttle the 6.0 really pulls good.
