What does the 4.8 have to hit over 400rwhp?

 

custom grind cam (unkown specs) LTs,CAI,stall, and mixed fuel and tuned really aggresive this is one of a few 4.8s hitting over 400rwhp NA these runs it was on 93oct pump gas wasnt at its best

 

Must be a ginormous cam. I've never heard a cam only 5.3 hit 400rwhp? What is mixed fuel? E85 and 93?

 

he runs 93oct mixed with C16, theres tons of nnbs 5.3s making 380rwhp with boltons and cam packages go a lil more aggresive you'll see over 400rwhp ever heard of Spike Performance? theres a guy out in RGV making 458rwhp and 392rwtq all NA in a 5.3L and help will racing fuel, this 4.8 our goal was to hit 380s and ended up with 403rwhp will we see these numbers again? i dont really think so but pretty cool we did

 

Now keep in mind that when comparing trucks to Rgv trucks there's a big difference. Everything is fast down there due to the perfect altitude conditions.

 

Oh yeah when he hit 403 it was perfect weather way way before the hot Texas summer im pretty sure his maybe pushing in the 350s now with pump gas or maybe less
