i used to have a Kodak V530 that took some pretty damn good pics/vids for its cost and out the box. but it just quit working one day, and i need a new one now. im looking for something like it and around $200 - $300 whats my choices!! I need digital and rechargable

I picked up a nice canon Power shot sd750 7.1 mp onsale for 128 bucks at sears.. It has performed flawlessly.. I don't think there is a better choice out there for that.. I didn't need one but couldn't pass it up for that price.. In the recording mode it also allows you to zoom in and out while filming... Has a rechargable li ion batt also
