very nice and yes install sucks on the 08+

 

now that you mention that, one time i had it inside without the external mic plugged in and it did it also. the problem with the mic is the wire is not very long, if i mount it on the side like that im not sure where to even put the mic??

 

i had myself so screwed up on install.. i knew i had to mill the axle bracket slots longer but held off because i had to cut my u bolts off and wanted to use the new ones to make sure i was right so i went ahead and put the front brackets on. once i got the new u bolts i put the axle brackets in but on my flip kit, maybe yours also, the axle is slid back on the spring so i had to also move the locating hole forward. this in turn made the bar too short. I just drilled another hole in the front bracket rather then trying to drill another hole in the spring to move it back some. im really happy with them though and for whatever reason people seem to like them a lot haha

 

Just stick it to the camera, probably what I'll do with it.
