OP, is this engine/turbo combo new from the 8.80 you guys ran?

 

promod 88 on a trick flow headed 402 on q16 at 23 psi allowed it to 8.8s

I thought spike and flaco were in the 7s...

Or are yall refefring to some special segment?

 

spike is 3100lb race weight and has slightly touched a 8 s pass on a big shot

there isn't a 7s LSX vehicle yet

and I believe Farmtruck aka nelson performance may be faster then La Whippet now

 

This is a new setup, same turbo as when we ran a 8.8. Its no longer called "hayhauler" its the rmr oilfield bandit. It belongs to a friend of ours. We've got some big goals for this new setup. Ill post more videos as I take them. This is the second fastest lsx truck

About comp turbos, so far this comp turbo has done just about the same as the presicion turbo when motor was hurt. We have been beating on this 402 for little over 5 years and until rod bearing went out and spun two rod bearings. Owner had a new spare 440 LSX motor and decided to run same turbo combo for right now.
Spun two rod bearing. I had been telling customer to refresh motor but he wanted to run it till it blew
