I wasn't going to make excuses but hell since the first guys says it lol.
It laid down on that run once it hit third, you can hear it shortly after it hits 3rd the exhaust note changes, almost like going into lockup (which it didn't as it's full manual). I wasn't logging, but if I had to guess it hit 150 plus AIT and my timing drops drastically to the tune of pulling about 5 degree's out. I felt it and looked at the wideband and all was good. Shortly after he pulled me.
Any case, no excuses, he won that one. The other one you can hear the truck pulled very clean both gears and he said he wasn't gaining at all. Happens, was a hot day at near 90 and all pulls was pretty close together.
