Default 6.2l w VVT cam idle clips

The fist video is with just a basic tune with idle at roughly 550rpm. The second and third are tuned with idle set at 725rpm. At 725rpm it has a smooth idle and drives like stock.

I have the cam that's a step down from yours and it doesn't like to idle at 550. Mine is set at 675 and it still has a lot of chop.

Did you have to use the old or new cam core for your engine?

Thanks, exhaust is stock with OBX catless headers.

Coban-I beleive it is the older cam core. I may make a DD tune, and then another with a little more chop to it.

No numbers yet. The local track is shut down for the year. I'd like to hit KCIR this month, but it doesn't look like I will be able to make it. Probably spring before I get a good idea of what it runs. But, it runs great and i'm happy with it.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I just came across these videos on youtube. The truck sounds great. I was thinking of using a modified 6.2 exhaust on my truck and selling my borla cat back to make up the cost. I want the single 3.5" set up for a cut out and I think they sound bad ***. How do you like it?

I love it! It is the best sounding exhuast I have had, and it came stock! Minus the headers of course. The cutout is the last thing i need.
