It'll get to the track soon, first i'm putting an "ultimate 10" girdled diff cover and some super u-joints on for insurance, and i've got a feeling the old et streets are fixing to have to be replaced... I want some 1.5 60's

Zak, as far as behing up on a Lightning, I guess that would really depend on the Lightning, i'm not gonna go ***** up to Frank or anything, but as far as a stock one goes i'd wager it'd be a definitive *** whooping- but how many stock Lightnings do you see anymore? It'd have to be an 11 sec 1/4 mile L to hang in there I think. I think Scott's white L run some mid 10's at C-ville (1000 ft for those not familiar) on 15 lbs boost, he had upper and lower pullies, ported blower, handheld tune, and bolt ons on nitto 555's. I think i'll be deep in the 9's 1000ft.

How are you liking your L? I saw a vid of you and Cody running up at bee branch, looks pretty good!

Oh you know I love it. Its exactly what I thought it was gonna be, fun. I have the utmost respect for that truck. I know it would whoop my ***. I just like to bust people ***** every once in a while...Code-E was telling me that he was gonna put all the stuff back on his truck. He should give me one hell of a run if we can both hook-up.

Let me know when you get up to Centerville, I would love to go at it with you. Its not like you dont know my #'s. If your up for it we will be heading to Bee Branch this weekend. I gotta figure out how to launch and I need more practice for Centerville and Prescott.

Nothin' wrong with a little ball bustin' now and then! I appreciate the comments, hopefully it'll live up to them, and more importantly hold together... last trip to C'ville wasn't good for me.

You got first dibs my man... pack a lunch Just kiddin'.

So Cody's thinkin' bout rebuilding the truck... if it's anything like before it'll run, you two would be one helluva race

Have you thought about plumbing a CAI into it using one of those velocity carb elbows? Right now Im sure your IATs are fine but what about during the 100* summers?

Yes it does! Pulls great all around actually, I wanna see the difference at the track when the truck is about 500lbs lighter and has the stickies on there. Should get some good 60's.

I don't think the IAT's will be a problem, the carb hat idea was talked about though.
