His shift times are zeroed out, so that is supposed to disable the adaptive shift learning... But it does sound like the adaptive shift learning is kicking in on his truck for some reason...

If he did the vacuum modulation would it completly disable the adaptive shift learning?

I really can't wait until mine dies, I will be going with the exact setup you have, Built408 tranny and 3800 CircleD !!! If Chase's trannies hold up to your and David, i am sure mine will be just fine!

Ya, vacuum modulator would do away with it, my tables are zeroed out also, but the tables still fill up, not sure why. And if the tranny lasts behinds Scotts HEAVY right foot, then you will be just fine...

Build me one lol. I honestly think my problems were in the tune or something on the 60's. I went through 4 TC. which, took the trans on the way out.

I think the 80 was a freak deal hopefully. I think the mistake of the filter may have really taxed that tranny from the start.

How hard would it be to add it to my tranny? What all is involved in swapping over to vacuum?

My day has been pretty good, and that just added to it. I'm somewhere between and

I'd love to get my '86 to that level someday.

Try zero'ing out D1101-D1103 along with D1107. This will limit the PCMs ability to increase or decrease line pressures.
