Depending on the truck/applications a locked converter will pull harder and give better numbers on the dyno but that's not what a Lock-up in the converter is for. Using it during WOT will cause them to slip, burn up and the clutch's eventually get glazed over.
now you tell me lol, yeah, well at least that's what Dave@Yank told me too. I ran faster and quicker with the converter unlocked but did make a few changes to my setup too.
