Ft. Knox now was at Ft. Hood....19D scouts lead the way haha just had to throw it out there my bad 
However I dont recommand 19D, EOD all the way!!! No future being a 19D when its time to get out...just law enforcement

I got a 98 chevy swb reg cab with the original v6 in it(200,000) wanting a everyday driver with *****. What engine should I go with. 91B here in Kandahar( well near it) Any suggestions?

I am mechanic in the Army and am in Afghanistan at the moment. I am on a small FOB in the east. Im am stationed out of Va but origanaly from Tx(DFW).
I have a 98 chevy C1500 swb, reg cab, 2/4, 20s, everthing shaved. I am the origanal owner and cant wait to get home and spend some money on her,
I just bought a 06 GMC crew cab, swb, black, and have black XD Hoss wheels(20x10 on 35s), and a fabtech 6 in lift sittin in the shed waiting for me. I cant wait for RnR.
In the tent next to me is the Navy SEALs and British special forces. I have 2 budies next door(SEALs) that are EOD so if u have any questions i can ask them. Also engineer would be pretty cool too and u wont blow ur hands off. I got some pics of me and the EOD guys wippin 8 lbs of C4 at about a dozen locations with 5 gallons of deisel ontop of them for the 4th of July, so that was pretty cool. its all up to you bro, good luck.

Ft Eustis, been there 3 years. Ft Belvoir is nice, all new housing, 15 min from DC. good luck w the traffic tho.not much to do on Belvoir tho. Maryland is kewl, and to your west is shanandoa mountains, realy nice. Truck scene here sucks u gota go north to maryland, i think DC has some shows. Have u ever been there or are u new to the military or whats up?
