Just picked this up for a ls6 swap and to drive for the winter so i dont get my tahoe dirty and i noticed while driving it i have a tcc problem. The vehicle is a 2.2 '01 s10 thats a dog (no power) so road testing it i noticed that it shifts 1,2,3,OD then lock-up (good) then while im in OD in lock-up, the s10 tcc lock-up doesnt unlock until 7/8 of the pedal is near the floor. so i tap the brake pedal to unlock it sooner and this helps with my no power s10. how do i get the tcc to unlock sooner? is it a programming issue or is there a bulletin for a computer re-flash to fix this problem. the tranny doesnt slip.
