thanks it worked great!!! cam off with no probs. all i have to do now is take off rear timing cover, pull out crank and rods and pistons and then it will be off to the shop

Crank rods and pistons came out this morning. everything looks pretty good. going to clean up the block a little and send it out to the shop in the next week or two

Broken tab on the balancer... luckily the tool i got from work did the job witout breaking it any further... and frozen chunk of crap in the bottom of oil pan

Cylinder walls look good... going to be a .030 over bore so im not worried there. just have to get the okay from my guy. started cleaning up the valve covers. going to scrub them down one more time and then lay some gloss black on them... oh and my ls2 rods came in the mail on monday. got them for super cheap
