Default Need help deciding on lowering kit

Having a hard time deciding on how much to lower my '01 S10, I don't want to make the truck unusable for pulling small trailers and hauling some stuff, and I drive almost 100 miles round trip to work, so the ride has got to be good (unlike the truck I just sold). Btw, it is not a ZQ8 truck.

I just bought a set of draglites (3 1/2" and 8") with 255/60 tires, but I plan on getting a set of 17x8's (probably Z06 or 2000 vette wheels) to change out for a change from time to time, so I want to make sure the tie rods clear when I go to them later on.

Any pics of your similiar setups would be nice, and if you could share the good and the bad of how you like your setup. Thanks for the help in advance.
