i'm really starting to like this truck, can you get the 5.3 in a 4x4 package. If so you guys think the transfer could stand up to some good launchs, do they make a 6 speed?

I think the the only available manual is in a 4cyl and its a 5spd... unless your refering to the 6spd auto which I dont believe is offered either.

As far as launchs I would think it should be able to hold up a good bit.... and even if it doesnt... 100k mile drivetrain warranty

I thought the 5 speed was also an option. The first time a 5.3L was ever available with the 5 speed.
