Default mini SBOMB LFX 3.6 v6 c5 vette trans and diff into 92 S10

Yep... Doing a mini project

I recently bought a 92 2.8 5 speed truck.

It is getting a sonoma GT front bumper, grille etc. 4 inch aluminum cowl hood, c5 corvette 6 speed, diff, and rear suspension. 18 inch magnesium vette wheels. And a lil 3.6 330 hp 30 mpg v6 out of a new camaro. And a single turbo to wake it up. Wont start on it til beginning of next year. But already bought the truck and a bunch of other crap for it. Getting the trans and diff this weekend.

So once I get back from deployment... and visit family etc. I'll get busy...

Since I paid off my other truck and it was fight to do while being deployed. And after reading some threads about people trying to use the 3.6 and having to use every single bcm etc to do the swap. I bought a 4.8

So I am going to do like the hot rod mag ad do some upgrades to the engine and put a pair of turbos on it.

I got all the vette stuff from bellhousing to torque tube to 6 speed to rear diff and suspension. I also got 2 sets of magnesium wheels

I am going to convert it to rack and pinion and airride

Almost done with deployment pics to follow

What did you do with the 3.6? Would have been nice to use an aluminum engine and save 85 pounds over the nose.

Oh I was planning on buying a new carmaro v6 when i got back from deployment and using the enigne out of it. But since they havent adopted the v8 Direct injection motors not many people give a **** about DI motors yet. So officially hadnt got the motor yet, got everything else though.

Oh, got it. Good luck with the build; should still be pretty sweet with the 4.8.
