Trying to help a friend of mine hunt down a set of true long tubes for his 2000 GMC Sonoma 4.3L. Im not sure if they even make a set of long tubes for them but if they do please post up some links or pictures. If not, what would you guys suggest for the V6s? He's wanting to get headers, ditch the cat, and run a 2.5" y-pipe into a single 3" exhaust. Thanks in advance guys.

i havent seen any long tubes for the 4.3 the only headers avaible are shorty headers. make sure whenever he ditches the cat that he should tune it when he gets the full exhaust done. otherwise the check engine light will come on. Mine is on from me gutting the cat out. I know gibson makes headers for it but they are around 350-400 for them. they have 2.5" collectors on them so the 2.5" y pipe would go great with it.

i think we might have tracked down a set of LTs from Hooker. He is going to call them tomorrow to make sure exactly what year model vehicles they fit. And yes, he will be getting a tune to make sure not to throw a CEL. Thanks for the help guys
