Default crossmember mods?

does any body know for sure about which oil pan to use when putting in a 5.3 into a 95 s-10 ZR-2? truck has also a 2" body lift.i'd like to just use the stock 5.3 pan if possible. i just wandered if i absolutely need to cut the front crossmember and any pics of where to do it? i still have to pull my old engine and just want to get my ducks in a row.-thanks

Try Street and Performance they have several different types of oil pan for the LSx engine, but you might have to call them.

Here is some of the LSx products (40 mb PDF file)

You'll need a front sump pan to clear the differential. If it was a 2wd I could help you more, but I've never done a swap on a 4x4.

Google JTR (Jaguars That Run). They sell the entire conversion Manual and most of the parts you'd need as well.
