Default BBC swap in a s10

i know its possible and i'm determined. has anyone on here done this, helped do this or just know how to do this. i need help and all help given is greatly appreciated. sbc/lsx are jus too common on the street so i'm taking it to a new level. so far i have the motor, i know where to get headers, etc.

now what do i need to do as far as the chassis's concerned.

and s10forum.com hasn't really given me anything to work with, everyone's done it in a 1st gen but nobody got any good info on how to swap a 2nd gen

It has been done before, and I saw one done up but man it was a tight fit. A SBC is a tight enough fit in that truck, and it looked like the BBC would of had to have tons of things moved.

Based on what I have seen I would go 400SBC. It also keeps weight down on the front which keeps your weight balance F/R with in torerable limits.

the frames are the same, the only differance will be the firewall but 1st or 2nd gen will need modifications too it.

check s10dragracer.com and http://www.s10racer.com/board/index.php there should be plenty of info for you there.

just get an ls motor ricky, go fast and still have a driveable truck
