Default 2010 silverado single cab 6/9 drop

I have a 2010 silverado with a 2 inch drop spindle and rear shackles. I want to do a 6/9 so I was thinking I would just get a djm 4/7 kit but ive been hearing its tough to aliign and you have to re tube it under the hood and move stuff around. Can anyone give me options or ideas on how to do it thanks!

My sig shows what I used for my 6/9
you'll need to notch the rear. And notch where the pumpkin axle hits the bottom of the bed. You'll see what I mean if you look under there.
You'll be fine if you get the right tire height. I didn't tube anything not even the rear.
As for alignment, mine came close but is just a tad out of spec.

I talked to another tech guy and he said instead of control arms to use 2 inch springs and 2inch struts and 2 inch spindles along with shocks for front and back. im gonna use the 22 inch texas edition replica wheels on 265/35/22

You're gonna have a harder time aligning it. Unless you get camber bushings and camber adjustment locks. The drop struts are to be used with stock springs. Not recommended to be used with drop springs. Ask belltech since they make the drop struts.
Just my 2 cents.

Agreed.

Get the arms and spindles. Next spring when I go from 4/7 to 6/9 I'll put the struts at no drop or lift (or put my factory struts back in), use the arms with my Belltech spindles, and put a shackle on my flip kit. Your tire size choice is perfect for that amount of drop, that's what I'll be running as well. As javzh said, you need a notch with that amount of drop, and notch the small crossmember above your pumpkin. Helper bags would be recommended as well.

Lastly, this is in the wrong section, might get a few more bites in the fullsize section, I found it because I always click all new posts.
