Im a moderator & beta tester for HPTuners & they are trying to bring 01+ v6 tuning to the general market...i need to read a few pcm's by the end of the week to help them code everything correctly...any help would be very much appriciated, Im located in trenton, NJ.

Any plans on helping the 98-2000 4.3s out?

As far as the computers try contacting a wrecking yard. They sell for about 50-70 bucks a pop around here.

 

98-00's have a different computer meaning far more work not only to get the editor to work but the scanner as well, so at this point just 01+'s...as far as buying computers I'm not getting paid to do any of this...was just hoping to help out hpt getting a product to the market for 01+ guys, nothing more so buying computers & harnesses to read them isnt in my plans

 

Hypertech has tuners for '98 to 01, I believe. I know I got one for my '99 S10.

 

Difference is hypertech is a handheld canned tune

Hptuners is a full on professional tuning software package which includes a datalogger and editing suite to custom tune pretty much any 98+ GM car truck or SUV. Hundreds of parameters that you can change to dial your tune in. Compared to 2 buttons to push on hypertech.
