I haven't added it up recently, I have it spread between two accounts. $6,900 I think. Once the lanyards get in I'll post up another drive.
She very recently got a $78, or 3% donation from a member who sold his radix on the forum. That's pretty cool idea and of course a gracious gift! The collection is still going!

I don't view this forum very much with being so busy, but I just got on here tonight to ask Bud about some Bilstein shocks, when i ran across an image in someones sig that said RIP BudHayes...I did a quadruple take and uttered aloud "WTF"
I didn't know him very well, never met him in real life, and even with that-in almost ANY question I posted on here-I could ALWAYS count on him to give me solid straightforward advice that has helped me on more than once occasion in issues with my truck. Its not often you run across people who are genuinely nice so much so that it comes across even without having ever met someone.
My deepest condolences to his family. This place has lost a extremely valuable member, I am deeply saddened to hear of this. I had planned on emailing him some pictures of my truck since I got the mods on it but it slipped my mind.
The members of PerformanceTrucks now have a guardian angel watching over us all. You'll be missed greatly, Bud.
Nate.

Billy was a great member to this forum. This contributions he had made were priceless. I used to follow all of his posts and read what he had to say because he truly knew what he was talking about pretty much all the time. He helped me with several issues I was having a few years ago when I first did my 4.8-5.3 swap. I remember when his truck was down for years due to a broken transmission. Long time saving, and he got his FLT and Circle-D converter. He seemed pretty excited about that. He had big plans for his truck, but never had the money to complete them. I am positive he is now sitting in his truck the way he dreamed it, watching down on us doing a fat tire roasting burn out.
R.I.P Billy.

A member just PM'ed me wanting to know what's going on with this fund we have set up for Rosie. It is still active. I told his cousin we'd let it linger for a while. I also wanted to advertise 10% of all decal and lanyard sells will go to the fund until we close it but I never made that official. I'll do that soon (and make sure back sales are still covered). But just wanted to touch base, the account is at $6,921.59.

When I first joined this forum he was the first to attempt to provide the help I needed and he went far beyond the call in attempting to make me feel welcome and to provide the information I needed.
I'm so sorry you have to bear this pain. Nobody should have to bury their children.

Twenty four pages. Hard to keep dry eyes. I was searching for evap issues causing poor idle/dying under a quarter tank. This was the first thread to pop up. And with Billy's name on it I thought to myself he there's an answer to my problem it's in there. Then I opened it and realised what it was. I'd seen the banners. It saddened of when I saw them the first time. But I didn't know the details until now. It shocked me to learn how he went. I never knew Billy. Never pm or anything. Hell I dunno if he ever posted on any of my posts. But that doesn't matter. I've learned more from budhayes3 and still to this day continue to learn from him. If I see his name attached to it then by god it's as good as gold and worth my time to try. I wish I could have known him. He wasn't just a member here. He was a friend to everyone. Whether he knew you or not. If you asked a question he had an answer. He was a phenomenal man and it's a tragic loss to all me us. I thank him for the things I learned and still dig up. And all this is what I have gathered from his posts without ever having spoken to him. Budhayes3, Billy, you're a brother to us all whether we knew you or not. And when I order my lanyards (cause the old lady wants one too) they'll always be a reminder of a man who changed more lives than he could have dreamed me changing. Rest in piece my brother. Kick the tires light the fires. Find us a good quarter mile stretch to line up on when we meet you down the line.
