Very sorry for your loss. Billy seemed like a really nice guy.

I was shocked to read this. I jump on here quite often, and read the latest posts, and when I saw this with 13 pages (growing to 14) I was thinking how did I miss this. Well I didn't, that was just the impact it had on everyone here. Billy was truly an asset to this site. He seemed like a genuine person willing to help anyone on here. He was the guy you always hoped would respond to any question because you knew he would have a concrete sincere answer. He has helped everyone on this site, and he will be greatly missed. Sr, and Rosie, I am very sorry for your loss. There is an old saying that I remember when a genuine person leaves us too soon. "A candle that burns twice as bright can only last half as long."

This forum will not be the same! In my short time as a sponsor of this forum, I had the pleasure of interacting with Billy quite a few times, and can honestly say he was one of my actual friends on this forum. He was a great person, very knowledgeable, always had an answer, and always supportive and kind to others. It's saddening, but the last "interaction" I had with Billy was to tell him thank you for commenting on how good my truck sounded, but he had already passed by the time I replied. Really wish I could have said Thank You sooner!! Don't really know what else to say except for he will be missed. RIP Billy!!!

Pop, Billy is a friend to all of us. A very special individual who shared his vast automotive knowledge and experiences with. I will miss him dearly. God bless Rosie, for now she has her own personal angel.
