Friends with ^smokymance. We are 5 min away from each other

I have been looking into a TBSS kit for awhile, it is well known as mod#1 to save tranny. I have a tranny temp gauge and watch the temp like a hawk

your heat exchanger looks alot different than mine...looks thicker but smaller overall size...mine is skinnier i believe and bigger over all and is mouned behind that bracing...then the trans cooler mounted infront of the bracing...i just installed mine two weeks ago, i have lots of pictures how i mounted them if you want to see

You can see them all stacked up...an idea is that u can mount ur 40K trans cooler behind ur exhanger just like u have now

Look at my last pic in post #71. There isn't enough room between the support and AC condenser to mount your style.

true...that skinnier heat exhanger is pretty thick looking...

when i had mine apart, i wanted to modify my yukon bumper and add the trans cooler by the lower grill area...and make that grill functional...
