I reached out to the seller via Messenger from his FB page. He responded with the link above which worked when opened via the FB browser. For some reason it won’t work when going directly from my iPhone using Safari browser. You can use the PayPal name name below to search for the seller or try using a different browser or computer maybe.
Hi All, I thought I would add some additional notes on my recent install of the TruCool using this Install Kit/Brackets. I have a 2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali. While the upper bracket installed without issue, I had to grind off the old lower bracket as it was not bolted on, but welded. However, a metal cutting wheel made quick work of it. I drilled new holes and installed the lower bracket using self-tapping screws into pre-drilled pilot holes.
The biggest issue, however, was a plastic piece that is part of the bumper assembly on this model. This plastic piece blocks the supply lines from moving left & right. I had to use a multi-tool to cut the plastic away in order to get the room needed to slide the OEM lines over far enough to match the inlet/outlets of the TruCool. I've provided some pics below in hopes that it helps others. Eventually, the new cooler installed just as intended without any leaks. The compression fitting supplied in the kit and the quick-disconnect fittings worked perfectly. Living in AZ and dealing with scorching temps while pulling a boat led to the decision to upgrade the tiny OEM trans cooler. I also swapped out the OEM cooling fans (which were 5 blade/500 watt) for the Escalade version (7/9 blade and 700 watt). Combined with the new trans cooler, I should be good to go!
I hope this helps. Thanks to Tim at Modern Muscle Salvage (@Time2Kill) for the kit and help.
