Quick question for you all
I have a 2003 Chevy suburban 2500 with the 8.1 and the L 85e transmission
I just ordered the cooler and the bracket kit here
I live in Southern California but I do occasionally drive this car to Mammoth for skiing and also to Colorado during the winter
are you guys bypassing the radiator entirely what is the consensus on that I’m just going to a bigger cooler cause I told a small enclosed trailer for Dirtbikes and I just want to keep my transmission happy
Are a lot of you running it through the radiator or are a lot of you bypassing the radiator entirely that’s basically my question I just don’t want to damage anything thank you so much everyone
also What pipe cutter are you using can anyone send me an Amazon link

normal highway driving in 85-90 degree weather is 145-150. Hottest I have seen so far was towing over a pass with my travel trailer in 70 degree weather and it hit 175-180. I used to see 200 climbing passes not towing in 85-90 degree weather prior to the 40k install. This is in an 06 suburban 1500 towing a 5800# travel trailer.

@Time2Kill last time online was 7/8/21. I ordered a couple days ago also. I have the cooler sitting here but like the look and simple install of his brackets.

Hey I get it people have things to do but hopefully he gets with it and sends out these parts that we paid good money for if you’re going to have a vendor post up here you got to keep on it I would think in my honest opinion
