I've ordered the Tru-Cool and the brackets and have started doing a little more research. I've noticed everyone mounting them ports down. Regarding mounting orientation, can anyone substantiate what this dudes is saying about the cooler needing to be mounted with the ports up? He starts talking about mounting orientation at 0:30.

I mounted mine ports up but don’t remember seeing a specific ports up or down in the directions that came with my Tru-Cool.

 

I have a complete kit that has 2 self tapper holes in the lower bracket. I ended up not using the the kit at all. If anyone wants it pm me. $65 shipped.

I recently ordered a set, also, and haven't heard anything. So far, I've been giving him the benefit of the doubt because it's been over the holiday weekend. My Tru-Cool was delivered yesterday and I'm starting to wonder when I'll be getting the goods to mount it.
