If it were me I would have gladly given a deposit to make sure it was mine and paid the rest once it was taken off. I sell tons of **** all the time and I dont believe anyone till I get money. Unfortunately it has to be that way on the interwebs nowadays, most peoples word on buying parts dont mean **** anymore. Its sad but true most of the time. Im not trying to be a jerk, just saying in general.

From the outside looking in, unless you paid a deposit or PIF, Rob is not under any obligation to sell it to you.
To add, in the few short years that I have been a member, this is the first time anyone has had anything negative to say about him (minus him liking boys....lol).
In closing, everyone else is beating around saying what they really think, so I'll say it......
Go pound sand.

Nothing in those texts is a commitment to me. You snoozed and lost. You gotta hound the dude daily, follow him around, stalk him, leave notes on windshield, pm's at pt.net, Facebook messages, etc at a minimum if you really want it. Internet commitment to buy **** is as hollow as my compassion for you in this situation. Wave money in his face unit it's in his hand and your loading it in the flower filled basket of your scooter.

Kind of a sad world we live in when a mans word is worthless, but that sentiment goes both ways.
You would not believe how many "buyers" I had for the P1 when it was for sale, in the end I had to drop the price 30% and still sat on it for 2mo.
Buyers and sellers these days are flakes. I know the OP is frustrated, but there isnt much he can do. A commitment on either behalf would have been required, generally by way of deposit.
If you had the money you should have offered a deposit, IMO. On the truck or not, if you really wanted it, you would have ponied up, even $250.

Doesn't sound like that at all from the shitty screen shots you posted. And you didn't post up one time in his entire for sale thread stating that you would buy it or replied to anyone who wanted it.
You screwed up. Stop crying.

Before the 2008 bust when I had a 1 mil a yr. business I used to carry the note for people having a hard time with funds but needed an AC system or unit. 2 out of 11 paid me. Even well meaning people's word is worthless most of the time unless they have something to lose.
