Lol, those damn things were the first thing gone on my truck. Literally, those clear corners were the first mod on my truck.

That looks sweet! The chrome on my 20's is starting to go rats' *** and now I got an idea! That looks really good.

what steps did u take to paint them? i like the color, which color is it cause i might go this route instead of black wheels

I just cleaned the **** out of em, masked the tire and sprayed. They're not even cleared. I'm thinking about going this route with powder coat and wanted to make sure I'd like it before I shelled out $$$$$.

To do it right, I'm sure there would be more prep work involved and unfortunately, I'm not to sure what it would be.

As far as the color goes, it's Duplicolor wheel paint. Got it at O'Riley's. There isn't a specific color listed on the can, but it's an Anthracite color, or pretty damn close at least.

now to tie in the HD grill and clear corner better you should polish the just the outter rims though it might be a little dificult right at the edg of the spoke.

i was thinking of collor matching the center and polishing the rim on mine at some point in the future if i don't just buy some polished wheels

Probably have to drive them as is for awhile, at least until I can find a set I can borrow to stay rolling. Then I'll have them coated with a machined lip on em.
