Default New lightning

I just got a 2001 ford lightning. It has 45k miles with basically all the bolt on's;dyno tune, full exhaust, pulley at #14, t/b, shift kit, and CAI, Supposedly makes 450HP. Only problem now is that it will not hook, What is everyone doing to make these lighting hook up a little better(spins the tires at 50) it has toyo 295 that are in good shape. My other concern is that this may be to much for the stock short block?

Maybe some traction bars would help?

Caltracs and a radial street slick are what you need. Also needs the pinion angle, bars, and shocks all set right. Those trucks hook hard when they're right.

Get some slappers cheap, or long bars from a few vendors.
And for tires either m/t's d/r's or nitto drag raidial NtO5's .
Make sure you have tration bars before you hook, or else you could twist the driveshaft to much an snap it..
